36 DCD CARBURETOR

NEW- 36 DCD 14 CARBURETOR.
CAN BE SUBSTITUTED FOR 28/36 DCD OR 36 DIM 7 WITHOUT ISSUES.
PLEASE NOTE THAT CUSTOMERS SAY, WHEN REPLACING THE DCHD:
FYI the noticeable differences are;

fuel pipe connection. The DCHD has a direct 90 degree angle downward where as the DCD is straight into the distributor, you can get a 90 degree piece but the space between fuel pipe and ignition wires is nadda.
The Vacuum port on the DCD is not only plugged but you can not access it easily where as on the DCHD you can, running the stock distributor you need that vacuum port for advancement.
The linkage, this was the biggest deal breaker, you cannot align it to work as it should. When measured against the DCHD it is clear the position of the linkage is to far off and without making or re fitting a different link set up the stock linkage is a rough fit (binding up at ldle position), it does work but idle adjustment is out of the question.
I WOULD SUGGEST USING THE OLD DCHD LINK ON THE PRIMARY SHAFT TO FIX #3 ABOVE?
